PrettyLittleThing has become the latest retailer to start charging customers to return their orders.
The fashion brand introduced a £1.99 fee on 3 June for users to send back their unwanted clothing, which will be deducted from their refund.
The charge also applies to its PLT Royalty members, who pay £9.99 for access to unlimited free delivery for a year.

Some PrettyLittleThing customers have taken to social media to complain about the new fee, claiming the brand’s inconsitent sizing was behind much of their returns.
PrettyLittleThing joins its fellow fashion brands Boohoo, H&M, Asos and New Look in introducing a returns fee that it once mocked on social media.

Retail payment specialists Dojo suggested the move could be introduced to tackle the rising costs of processing high amounts of returns, which has been exaggerated by the use of ‘buy now, pay later’ services such as Klarna.
Last month, online retailer Oh Polly introduced a new returns policy in a bid to clamp down on “repeat refunders”.
The fashion brand informed customers that the new policy will calculate the cost of returns based on their return rates, with some being charged as much as £8.99 to send back the entire order.
